It started with one region and a handful of engineers. No shared standards, no common tooling, no agreed-on way of working. What followed was a gradual expansion across APAC, LATAM, NA, and EMEA — team by team, region by region, each with different tools, different levels of maturity, and different opinions about what QA is actually supposed to do.
The session covers the decisions that defined that journey: choosing and migrating away from legacy automation tools, integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines across distributed teams, building test reporting at scale, and creating a community of practice that kept geographically spread engineers working in the same direction.
